I'm back!

Hi friends! After a 2 year blogging break, I am finally BACK!

I’m so excited to be back and to share some new recipes, gift guides, and exciting news with all of you. I’ve been fully focusing on being a mama to my two little ones, while also growing another tiny human. Our baby boy will be here in February, and we can hardly wait!

This fall, I hired an amazing addition to Elisabeth and Butter! If you notice new graphics, more posts, and just more of everything, it’s because Lyndsey Blakely came into my life. She’s a mama to FOUR kids (super woman), and brings so much experience to the table. I am so thankful for her!!

Fall is finally here, and I’m sharing some of my fall favorites today! Here’s a few things I’ve been loving lately:

  1. Soups. All the cozy, fall soups. We made this white chicken chili last night, and it was delicious!

  2. Burning a good, non-toxic candle. I haven’t burned a candle in a while because I have learned so much about how bad fragrances are for your home, but I missed the ritual of it. I recently found Slow North and am so happy to have candles that are made with clean, non-toxic ingredients. They have so many good seasonal scents, but my current favorite is Of the Sea.

  3. Fall baking! All things pumpkin, apple, and cinnamon. This cake pan is the cutest! I also have been using these fall-shaped cutters for cookies, pie crusts, cheese, and more!

  4. This tablecloth and these taper candles for a cozy fall dinner. I’m planing to make this recipe for dinner soon!

  5. Every morning, I look forward to my coffee with frothed whole milk with a dash of cinnamon and honey.

  6. Being pregnant and getting larger and larger, I’m living in comfy sets like this and this!

  7. Dressing my kids in all the cute fall clothes. I recently got this precious jacket for Nell, and I’m in LOVE.

  8. Both of my kids are in a little school now, so I’ve enjoyed getting into a routine this fall. One thing that has been so beneficial lately is putting the kitchen to sleep, making my kids lunch boxes, and setting out their outfits and backpacks the night before. Waking up to a clean kitchen and having their outfits and lunches ready to go makes our mornings go so much smoother.

  9. Fall shoes! These, these, these, and these are all on my wishlist.

  10. My bible study is doing a “Bring Your Own Board” night next week, and I’m so excited for this. There’s going to be a cheese fondue board, a mediterranean board, a buffalo board, a chocolate fondue board, a chili board, and more! I’m planning to bring a fall dessert board with pumpkin donuts, fall-themed sugar cookies using these and these cookie cutters, toffee+cream cheese dip with apples, and mini pies!

Happy Fall and happy baking!
