Let's Party!
If there’s one thing I love as much as baking, it’s birthday parties! I love a good theme, and I’ve been dreaming of my children’s birthday parties for years. I’ve compiled some of my favorite party supplies for different themes, and I hope you enjoy!
Party Animal
“Welcome to the Zoo, Henry is TWO”
“Calling all party animals! Frances is turning one!”
I love this theme. You can decorate the tables with toy animals and even get crafty by making mini party hats for them! Add a few play animals to the top of the cake and you are set! How cute are these mini party hats to glue on animals?
For desserts, I would make a simple cake with sprinkles and party animals with hats on top! I would also make some pickup desserts like decorated sugar cookies and funfetti blondies. YUM!
Trucks/Construction
“Stop the traffic! Close the road! William is turning 5 years old!”
“Start your tractor and put it in gear, Watson’s 3rd birthday is almost here!”
I would play with the “dirt” theme and make dirt out of crushed oreos to go on top of a cake or cupcakes! I love this cupcake kit!
Puppy Dogs
“Snips and Snails and Puppy Dog Tails! Charlie is turning one!”
“Let’s Pawty!”
For desserts, I would make a pretty vanilla cake with light blue frosting and top it with puppy dogs and candles. These peanut butter chocolate chip cookies would also be delicious!
Golf
“It’s a Par-Tee!”
“A hole in ONE”
For the desserts, I would make cupcakes and top them with these flags! Golf sugar cookies and homemade oatmeal cream pies would also be delicious.
